Babylon Garden Affair – a ceiling that shifts with the night.
A rotating chandelier mechanism developed for a 560 m² hospitality venue that changes character from dining room to nightlife destination.

The chandelier is part of the venue’s transition.
NOLS designed Babylon Garden Affair around a banyan-tree-inspired centrepiece. As the room moves from dining into nightlife, the ceiling installation becomes an active spatial element rather than static decoration.
FABA Tech translated that intent into a rotating mechatronic system integrated with the chandelier, balancing movement, control, installation access and the demands of a live hospitality environment.

Rotation mechanism, motor and gearbox integration, control panel, bearings and rotating structure, electrical integration, workshop validation, onsite installation and commissioning.

The work continues after opening.
Real operating conditions revealed two issues in the first mechanism: uneven movement and operational noise. FABA Tech responded by initiating a replacement-mechanism scope focused on smoother, quieter motion.
