Case study / ARCH:ID 2026

Seven kinetic builder machines reveal the unseen act of formation.

For Infiniti Granite Tile’s installation at ARCH:ID 2026, FFFAAARRR conceived a space that revealed the normally hidden process behind a finished tile wall. FABA Tech engineered and fabricated seven stainless-steel kinetic machines, each translating a tile craftsperson’s action into a distinct physical movement.

Seven movements

Construction actions translated into a kinetic sequence.

Visitor experience

The hidden process became something people could follow.

Together, the seven machines transformed the concealed construction sequence behind a finished tile wall into a kinetic exhibition narrative. Their movement gave passersby a reason to pause, look closer and follow the normally unseen steps behind the finished surface.
